What is mining self rescuer?

Self-rescue device is a kind of portable breathing protective device to prevent harmful gas poisoning or hypoxic asphyxia when fire, gas, coal dust explosion and coal and gas outburst occur in underground mine. Self-rescue device is a small, light weight, portable equipment to protect personal respiratory organs. The main purpose of rescue is that when an accident occurs in the underground coal mine, miners wear it to quickly leave the disaster area through the lanes filled with harmful gases. According to its working principle, self-rescue devices can be divided into two categories: filter self-rescue devices and isolation self-rescue devices. Isolated self-rescue device can be divided into chemical oxygen self-rescue device and compressed oxygen self-rescue device according to the principle of oxygen generation. Classification of self-rescuers

According to its working principle, self-rescue devices can be divided into two categories: filter self-rescue devices and isolation self-rescue devices.

Isolated self-rescue device can be divided into chemical oxygen self-rescue device and compressed oxygen self-rescue device according to the principle of oxygen generation.

Filter self-rescue device

It is a respiratory protector that oxidizes poisonous air into non-poisonous air for the wearer to breathe by using a filter equipped with chemical oxidants.

Chemical oxygen self-rescuer

It is a breathing protector that uses chemical oxygen-generating substances to generate oxygen for wearers to evacuate from disaster areas to escape from danger.

Compressed oxygen self-rescuer

It is an isolated respiratory protector using compressed oxygen for oxygen supply, and it is a self-rescue device that can be used repeatedly.

Matters needing attention of Mining LED Cap Lamps

  1. The charging hole should be covered when the lamp is used underground to prevent dust or water from entering the charging hole. Blockage or rust of the charging hole will cause the lamp to be unable to charge and scrapped.
  2. It must be charged according to the instructions and other ways must be approved by the company.
  3. Mine lamp should be maintained during use. Protecting the lamp glass can keep the best lighting effect. Mine lamp can not be put into water when it is clean. It should be scrubbed with wet cloth.
  4. Do not over discharge for a long time in the process of using, otherwise it will affect the service life of the battery.
  5. Charging room temperature should be in the range of 0-35 C. If it is not in this range, the battery may be heated, which will affect the performance of the battery and shorten its life.
  6. Mine lamp should be used within the cycle life of storage battery, and it should be discarded forcibly if it reaches the service life.
  7. Don’t direct the light into other people’s eyes to avoid causing vision discomfort underground.

Charging and Operation of Miners Cap Lamp

  1. Charging Method

1) The lamp holder of this product is equipped with charging management circuit, which can be charged with a constant voltage charger. Charging rack shall comply with MT68-2002 “Mine Lamp Charging rack” standard.

2) When charging, first turn off the lamp power supply, open the lamp charging cover, expose the DC jack, insert the charging jack of the charger into the DC jack, and insert the 220V AC power supply into the other end of the charger. When charging normally, the indicator lamp of charger is red light. When the battery is full, the indicator lamp turns to green light and automatically stops charging. Normal charging time is about 6-8 hours.

  1. Pre-cycling Charging

The lamp is charged and discharged. It has been charged up to about 40% of the capacity when it leaves the factory. The newly purchased lamp can not be used directly. It should be discharged first. After discharge, recharge the battery on the charging rack for no less than 7 hours, and check the lighting time in the lamp room after sufficient electricity.

  1. Cautions for Charging

1) When charging, the lamp source should be turned off.

2) The adoption of other charging methods should be approved by the company, otherwise the product may be damaged due to mismatched charging.

  1. Normal use

1) When in use, the power switch on the lamp head can be pressed to turn on the main and auxiliary light sources and turn off the light sources respectively.

2) The main light source of the miner’s lamp can light for more than 11 hours; if it exceeds the scheduled working time, please switch to the auxiliary light source in time to maintain a longer lighting time.

3) Mine lamp is equipped with over-discharge control circuit. Under normal operating conditions, the battery will not cause over-discharge. But when the battery discharges to the termination voltage of 2.75V, the overdischarge control circuit starts and the lighting source is turned off. Users must use it as required and go to the well before the lamp goes out to ensure safety.
